well it of great importance in Biotech industry and experiments,i am telling this bcoz i have seen this in my biotech experiments,its a biological hexadentate ligand which is required to form complexes in biomolecules also

its spl thing is dats it is hexadentate but can also serve as pentadentate bidentate tri tetra dentate in its ions
