Why is KCN(or KONO) ionic while AgCN(or AgONO) covalent tho dey hav d same oxdn no. & size

it is because of linkage kcn and kno2 are ionic compounds and agcn and agno2 are covalent also no2- and cn- are ambident nucleophiles they can have diff donor sites
