you dont need to have record of 9o percent or above to get good score in JEE .its not compulsory..... if your preparations of iitjee are good you will surely get above 90 percent ..no one can stop you ...but i would like to say that iitjee is a different ball game where having a record of above 90% in 10 th or 12th does not gaurantee that you will get good marks in iitjee also...there have been cases when student qualified for iitjee with good rank but failed in boards..even iitjee2007 topper achin bansal got only 74 percent...so dont worry just chill... cheers.!!!

Plus man, getting marks in boards donot depend on how well u hv studied or how well ur exams went, it also depends on the how the examiners check ur paper(read English, Hindi). So this is a total misconception that only those getting 90 and above get gud ranks and that those are the ones who r really sincere. I mean none of the people who got above 90 in 12th boards(CBSE) in my school cud clear JEE

Well board exams and IIT are two totally different exams which require different kind of efforts. Now there is no set protocol that states that only the one's having 90% and above in board can score good marks in IIT. The students that score good marks in IIT they generally do good in boards but there are also selections in IIT of students which may be having less than 90%. Don't look after these things, decide your own priority and work hard for that.
