haan aa toh gaya dear
we get
.25 *10^-8
n solubility we measure in small nos n nt 25 n so....... so tahts d answer
posted d sol bove :)
ya sorry...it is 10^-8.....[Ba2+] = S' , [OH-] = S' + 10^-2
now apply Ksp = (2S' + 10-2)2 (S').......omit the S2 and S3 terms as they are very small. u will get 10^-8
Mg(OH)2 = Mg2+ + 2OH-
[OH-] = 10^-2 (pOH = 2)
[Mg2+] = s
[Mg2+] [OH-]^2 = 10^-12
[Mg2+](10^-2)^2 = 10^-12
So s = 10^-8.
