Hi sush,

for a system which is not isolated from its surroundings

Stotal   Ssystem + Ssurr   ----------------(1)
Ssurr     =    Hsurr / T  = - Hsystem/T
Stotal  =   Ssystem+ - Hsystem/T  (from 1)

multiplying eqn by T,
TStotal=TSsystem- Hsystem
hence,

Hsystem-TSsystem=-TStotal
Hsystem-TSsystem=Gsystem

as G=-TStotal
