 If a catalyst is added in the equilibrium state in what direction does the reaction take place or will it be constant ??????

catalyst does shift the direction of equilibrium it only increases the speed to attain equilibrium

catalysts can increase or decrease the speed of chm. rxn

The catalyst increases rate reaction by providing a different reaction mechanism to occur with a lower activation energy.
It does not affect the position of the equilibria, as the catalyst speeds up the backward and forward reactions equally.
