Engineering Entrance , Medical Entrance , NEET , JEE Main , AIIMS , JEE Main & Advanced , Chemistry , Physical Chemistry

a vessel of volume 100 ml contains 10% of oxygen and 90% of an unknown gas. the gases diffuse in 86 sec through a small hole of the vessel. if pure oxygen under the same conditions diffuses in 75 sec . what is the molecular mass of that unknown gas

i just needa simple xplanation..!

let molecular weight of gas me M .then considering it M , get the mol weight of mixture=3.2+0.9Mthen simply get the rates of diffusion for O2 and the mixture..and compare using grahms law.
