According to given condition,40=1/kln(a/7a/10)=1/kln(10/7)

so,t1/2=ln2/k=40ln2/ln(10/7).simplifying this gives the ans which I think is approximately 75.2min.

formulas t= 2.303 / k *log(initial conc / final  remaining)
