The potential difference applied to an X-ray tube is 5kV and the current through it is 3.2 mA. Then the number of electrons striking the target per second is (A) 2 x 1016 (B) 5 x 106 (C) 1 x 1017 (D) 4 x 1015

well bro, what is the use of 5kv.

as,1.6x(10 to the power of -19)coulomb=1electron

therefore,3.2x(10 to the power of  -3)=1/1.6x(10 to the power of -19)x3.2x(10 to the power of -3)=2x(10 to the power of 16)electrons.

pls reply soon....
