The density of copper metal is 8.95 g/cm3. If the radius of a copper atom is 127.8 pm, what type of unit cell it forms?From CBSE XII board.

1. calculate density by putting Z=1 or 2 or 4 one by one also put value of edge lenth according to crystal lattice(SCC, BCC, FCC)2. ANSWER which give you density equal to 8.95gm/cc that is your answer3. correct ANSWER is FCC lattice

use the formula d=n*M /N*Vwhere n=is what u have to findM=molecular weightN=avogadro noV=volume
