Mostly the answer is d)CCl3CHO as the chlorine obtained by the electrolysis will oxidise ethyl alcohol to acetaldehyde and then it undergoes halogenation and finally chloral will be obtained.

(d) CCl3CHO
On electrolysis, Chlorine will be obtained, which is an oxidizing agent. Alcohol will be oxidized to acetaldehyde which will be further halogenated to chloral.

no here final product is CHCl3 because by the electrolysis formation of NaOH chlorine takes place which gives haloform test with etanol.
