A current 9.65 A is passed for 3 hrs between nickel electrodes in 0.5 L of a 2 M solution of Ni(NO3)2
The molarity of the solution after the electrolysis would be
0.92M
Please give detailed solution rates assured for satisfactory ans

thus mol wt of Ni(NO3)2 = 241.4
eq wt = 120.7 [since 2 electron lost/gained]
w=ZIT = eq.wt *IT/96500=130gms
ie = 0.54 moles
initially 1mole
finally 0.46moles
thus final molarity = 0.46/0.5 = 0.92M
