Do u mean transport number during electrolysis ions carry current move to oppositely charged electrodes & are discharged there as per the faradays first law of electrolysis the no of ions discharged at electrode is proportional to quantity of electricity passed we can relate as follows using transport number i.e The fraction of the total current carried by each ion is called its transport number now T no of cation is t+ = current carried by cation /total current & t+ +t-=1
