hey, just sum up the starting bonding and anti-bonding terms seperately. see upto what number they add to. then you can calculate easily from 2px and 2py etc....example- for oxygen(16) , its sigma 1s 2, sigma*1s 2, sigma 2s 2, sigma*2s 2, sigma 2pz 2, pi2px 2=pi2py 2, pi*2px 1=pi*2py 1. ok?now the starting four terms are common in almost all elements, so it makes total 8 bonds --4 in bonding and 4 in anti-bonding. by heart this and then you can easily add up the rest!!!!plz rate if understood
