PCl5 PCl3 +Cl2 the forward rxh. at const temp is favoured by _ introducing inert gas at constant pressure______________.
why???

see mate delta n = no. of moles of products - no. of moles of reactants
delta n +ive , and an inert gas is added @ const. pressure , the rxn shifts in forward direction
but if inert gas is added @ CONST VOLUME no effect
and if delta n = 0 , then toh there wont be any affect whether u add @ const. pressure or vol.

PCl5 = => PCl3 + Cl2 let moles of these be a , b , c respectively at equilibrium and volume of the mixture be V then K for the reaction is = bc/ aV on adding inert gas at constant pressure volume increases as K remains constant b, c should also increase so the reaction moves in forward reaction
