1.which one is odd here w.r.t. hydrogen spectrum-(a)balmer series(b)paschen series(c)fourier series(d)brackett series?

2.which wavelength is not associated with balmer series of hydrogen spectrum-(a)6561(b)4860(c)5646(d)3645?(values in angstrom)

3.which d-orbital has a diff. shape from rest all d-orbitals?

4.the radius of 1st Bohr's orbit in hydrogen atom is 0.053 nm.The radius of 2nd orbit in He+ wud be:(a)0.0265nm(b)0.530nm(c)0.1060nm(d)0.2120nm??

5.which of the following products in  hydrogen atom are independent of the principal quantum number n?thesymbols has /have their usual meaning--(a)vn (b)Er (c)En (d)vr

1.c)fourier series

2.d)3645 A  (balmer series is the range of visible light(4000 - 7000A)

3 i think it is the  orbital

4 c)0.1060 nm   (n2 / z)

5.could you give the full form of the symbols...

5 th one is a and b

i think the fourier series is a mathematical series....it has nothing to do with with the spectrum of hydrogen

it is the  orbital because there is a circular ring around the main dumbbell unlike the other 4 orbitals.

the velocity of an electron is the usual value (2.18 *10^8 cm/s) multiplied by Z / n

energy of an electron is the usual value (13.6 ev) into Z2 / n2

radius is n2 / Z into the usual value
