Q:If f(x)=max(sinx,cosx,1/2) then period of f(x)= a.pi+pi/4 b.pi c.2pi+pi/4 d.2pi ans:d-->2pi Q:Period of function f(x)=cos2pi{2x}+sin2pi{2x}(where {.} denotes fractional part of x. a.1 b.pi/2 c.1/2 d.pi ans:c-->1/2

see for the second ques,.u know that period of fractional part is 1.
therefore u can rewrite the ques as
cos 4 pi + sin 4 pi
now period of cos 4 pi = 1/2 and period of sin 4pi = 1/2
common period is l.c.m. of above 2 periods which is 1/2
rate me !!!
