photoelectric effect supports quantum nature of light because...a)there is a minimum frequency below which photoelectrons are emitted. b)the maximum kinetic energy of photoelectrons depends only on the frequency of light and not on its intensity. c) even when the metal surface is faintly illuminated , the photoelectrons leave the surface immediately . d)electric charge of photoelectrons is quantized.

Well

The First two options are wrong .

And between the last two options , Photo electrons are rather quantized .

It is not necessary that the photoelectrons are emitted immediately when exposed to illumination

So the answer should be (d)

Option D seems to be correct.

A may be correct because quantum theory says that energy is directly proportional to the frequency and that is why only when threshold frequency possessing light strikes the metal electrons are emitted,itz right because according to classic phy.energy depends upon intensity ,you b options may also be correct,but "a" is more suitable,
