The water vapour pressure at 293 K is

2338 Pa and the vapour pressure of an

aqueous solution is 2295.8 Pa.Determine

its osmotic pressure at 313 K if the solution

density at this temperature is

1010kg/m3.The molecular weight of the

solute is 60.

mole fraction of water = 2295.8/2338 = 0.982
so mole fraction of solute = 0.018
So there is 0.018*60 g solute per 0.982*18 g water
So 1 liter solution contain 58.16 gram solute
So molarity = 0.97
Use this to find osmotic pressure
