Under what conditions will the molality of a solute not be equal to its molarity?

molality=moles/kg solute molarity=moles/volume
so if mass in kg of solute is numerically not equal to volume in L ie density is not 1 kg/L(for water ie) molality is diff than molarity

wrong answer akhil in molarity the volume indicated is of the solution ,not of the solvent as mentioned by you
