quartz and glass are materials of opposite nature..
That is one is amorphous and other is crystalline!!
The conversion from quartz form to glass, is possible on strong heating and allowing it to cool,, while for vice versa,, very slow simultaneous heating and cooling processes are required...

The key of success is not in being Master of all.
But Jack of few!!

quartz is crystalline.......we get glass on melting it and rapidly cooling it or we can say by annealing

Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.
