If in diamond, there is unit cell of carbon atoms as fcc and if carbon atom is sp3 what fractions of void are occupied by carbon atom? (A) 25% Tetrahedral (B) 50% Tetrahedral (C) 25% Octahedral (D) 50% Octahedral

See carbon carbon bonds in diamond are directed towards corner of tetrahedral so C must be in tetrahedral void.
Secondly consider any carbon atom in FCC like one at corner. It has 8 tetrahedral voids around it. But as there are only 4 C-C bonds so only half of them are occupied
