CONC.OF NH^4OH AND NH^4CL IN ASOLUTION IS 0.1M EACH.CALCULATE CONCENTRATION OF HYDROGEN AND HYDROXYL IONS IF THE DISSOCIATION CONSTANT OF NH^4OH IS 7.2*10^ -10.

treat it as buffer and solve,
the eq. is ph =pka + log(salt/base)

( ) represents conc.

the given buffer is basic for which the henderson equation is applied
 
pOH = -logkb + log[salt]/[base]
 
pOH=-log7.2x10-10 +log 1
 that w'll give u pOH frm which u can calculate [OH]- by using pOH=-log[OH]-
pH=14 -pOH
n from pH u can calculate [H]+
