IT IS A ROCKSALT STRUCTURE.CCP LATTICE OF Br ATOMS WITH Ag ATOMS OCCUPYING ALL OCTAHEDRAL HOLES.

Ag HERE MOVES FROM OCTAHEDRAL TO TETRAHEDRAL SITE. HERE ONLY CATIONS PARTICIPATE

SCHOTTKY

INSPITE OF BEING A ROCK SALT STRUCTURE, THIS DEFECT IS EXHIBITED DUE TO PARTICIPATION OF BOTH CATIONS AND ANIONS.

Yeah I know there are contradictory statements in many books on this, but the answer is definitely both......I've confirmed it multiple times from college profs....cheers!!

AgBr will show both schottky and frankel defect

NCERT is bible so follow it
