 in a cell that utilises the reaction

Zn(s) + 2H+(aq)  -----> Zn+2(aq) +H2(g) addition of H2SO4  to cathode compartment,will shift the equilibrium in which direction?

whether E wouid be increased or decreased?

Addition of H+ will increaase  the Emf .... and the equllibrium shifts to right..... IN GENERAL, THE CATHODE COMPARTMENT concentration must increase....
