see the avg speed of a molecule is independent of the mixture this means that the speed of the h2 will remain indepnedent of 02 molecues i hope now u can solve it

Average speed is inversely proportional to mass of gas. As mass of hydrogen is 1/16th of mass of oxygen, so average velocity of hydrogen is 4v1.
