Work done is greater in isothermal process when compared to that of adiabatic process. It is also evident from the follwoing curves (area under the curve is depictive of work done).

IT IS CLEARLY KNOWN THAT THE WORK DONE DURING ISOTHERMAL PROCESS IS MORE THAN ADIABATIC AS WE IMAGIN THAT A INSULATED AND A PERFACTY CONDUCTING CONTAINER CONTAIN GAS AND HEAT THEM THE HEAT IS TRASFER IN ISOTHERMAL PROCESS AND HEAT REMAINS CONSTANT IN ADIABATIC PROCESS . THE TRANSFERED HEAT IS CAUSE FOR GREATE WORK DONE IN COMPARION TO ADIABATIC PROCESS
