If z1 = 5 + 10i, z2 = 3 + 8i and z3 = 1 + 2i are three complex numbers then they represent a) isosceles triangle. b) right angle triangle. c) equilataral triangle. d) scalene triangle. Please reply.

Assume coordinates of the vertices of triangle as
(5, 10), (3, 8) and (1, 2)
now use distance formula to obtain the results.

Ofcourse I do not here speak of that beauty that strikes the senses, the beauty of qualities & appearances; not that I undervalue such beauty, far from it, but it has nothing to do with science; I mean that profounder beauty which comes from the harmoniuos order of the parts, & which a pure intelligence can grasp. |

As far as i am concerned , the answer must be d . scalene triangle is this right??????reply......... DIstances of the sides = 2  2 , 2 10,2 20 THUS I CAME TO SUCH A CONCLUSION....

Let ABC be the required triangle having vertices A=(5,10),B=(3,8),C=(1,2) Now by dis. formula, AB=2root2,BC=2root10,AC=4root5 therefore ABC is a scalene triangle.
