Water Heaters are of same rated voltage.when used to heat 10kg of water from 10degree centigrate to 40degree centigrate,they take 10 minutes and 15 minutes respectively.find the time taken to heat same water from 10 degree to 40 degree,when they are used together.(a) in series (b) in parallel

(Vo^2/r)t2=p

(Vo^2/r2)t1=p

For perellel

These are connected in parllel and will run for same time

(vo^2/r1+Vo^2/r2)*t=p

t=ti*t2/T1+t2

for serries

t=t1+t2/2
