divide the equation by 2 sinx /2 + sqrt3 /2 cosx = 1/sqrt2
cos (x -30) = cos 45 x - pi/6 = 2npi +- pi /4
x= 2npi +- 5pi/12
thats the answer.......

(rt3/2)cosx+(1/2)sinx=1/rt2
cos(x-pi/6)=1/rt2=cos(pi/4)
x-pi/6=2npi pi/4
x=2npi+5pi/12 (or) x=2npi-pi/12.

Multiply and divide by 2 (1/2)*sinx + (rt3/2)cosx = 1/rt 2 sin(x+ pi/3) = 1/rt2 = sin (pi/4) x + pi/3 = n.pi + (-1)^n (pi/4) x = n.pi + (-1)^n. (pi/4) - pi/3
