How to find the range of f(x) = 2sin3x + 4cos3x ? (solution please)How can acosx+bsinx be put in the form of (a^2+b^2)^(1/2)sin(x+p) where tan p= a/b ?If f(x)= ( 20) ^ (1/2)sin (3x+p) where tan p = 2, how can we conclude that its period is 2pie/3 ? ( solutions please)

Hello

 range=(a^2+b^2)^1/2

this can be done by multiplying and diving the expression by above and writing in form:-

(a^2+b^2)^1/2(sin(3x+@))

because one term becomes cos@ and other sin@.
