If f(x)=sin 3X/sin X, X not equal to n,then find range of f(x)

sin 3X=3sinX-4sin^3X

so f(x)=3-4sin^2X
sin X is not equal to zero

minima is when X tends to sin X=1
3-4=-1
maxima is as sin X tends to 1
but not 1
so max=3, not incuding 3

sin3x/sinx = 3 - 4 sin^2x implies range = [-1,3)
