Just write tan(a+b) which is m(2m+1)+(m+1)/(m+1)(2m+1)-m=2m2+2m+1/2m2+2m+1=1 which means a+b=npi+pi/4.

Here,a=alfa and b=beta.The principal value of a+b is pi/4.

Use the identity

tan (A + B) = (tan A + tan B )/ ( 1 - tan A tan B)
