According to SL Loney(arihant) Cot^-1

has a principal value in -90^o to +90^o   just like tan^-1 

But in BT Mod 2, it says cot^-1 has a prin value in 0^o to 180^o, while tan-1 in -90^o to +90^o

Which one is true? and if BT is true, why is cot^-1 not defined on same interval as tan^-1
