(secx -tanx+1)/(secx+tanx+1)

={(secx+1)-tanx}/{(secx+1)+tanx}

multiply numerator and denominator with {(secx+1)-tanx} then you will get:-

=(sec^2x+1+tan^2x+2secx-2tanx-2secxtanx)/(sec^2x+1+2secx-tan^2x)

=(2sec^2x+2secx-2tanx-2secxtanx)/(2+2secx)

={secx(secx+1)-tanx(secx+1)}/{1+secx}

={(1+secx)(secx-tanx)}/{1+secx}

=secx-tanx

=(1-sinx)/(cosx)

tell me whether i am correct or not?

reply is must.

You didn't have to type "thita" over and over again.

You could've just gone with x.
