sin^4(x)+cos^4(x)

={sin^2(x)}^2+{cos^2(x)} ^2

={sin^2(x)+cos^2(x)}^2-2sin^2(x)cos^2(x)

=1-2sin^2(x)cos^2(x)

tell me whether i am correct or not?

sin^4(x)+cos^4(x)

={sin^2(x)}^2+{cos^2(x)} ^2

={sin^2(x)+cos^2(x)}^2-2sin^2(x)cos^2(x)

=1-2sin^2(x)cos^2(x)

it can be further written as:

1 - 1/2 (sin2x)²

its -sin^4x+cos^4x

0r sin^4x+cos^4x?

cos^4x-sin^4x

=(cos^2x+sin^2x)(cos^2x-sin^2x)

=cos2x
