if polar of p with respect to the parabola y2=4ax touches the circle x2+y2=4a2 then show that p lies on the curve x2-y2=4a2

let the point be h,k

pole is:-

Ky-2a(x+h)=0

as it touches the circle the perpendicular distance is 2a

-2*a*h/(k^2+4a^2)^1/2=2a

h^2-k^2=4*a^2
