if the height of a tower is 150 m,and it's angle of elevation is 45,then find its distance from the boat

let the distance of tower from boat be x metres
then tan45 = 45/x
1 = 45/x
x = 45 metres

LET THE DISTANCE of the boat frm the foot of the tower is x then tan45=150/xor x is 150.

let the distance from the boat 2 foot of the tower is K then tan45=150/K K=150mm
