first of all convert sin invrse to tan invrse and then use sum of tan inverse formula to get tan inverse on both sides....this brings the ans to above written b and c ans

When you solve the equation you get, x=1 or x=-1 But, you also get another root as '0' when you solve the eqn.... therefore, x=-1,0,1 Therefore, correct answer:- A,B,C. If you want the soln please post the query... please rate me........ thanx

Deepak, it is not necessary ot convert into tan inverse........ It will be OK if you use directly sum of sin inverse..........

We know that, sin-1a+sin-1b=sin-1{asqrt(1-b2)+bsqrt(1-a2)} You may use the same for 3x/5 and 4x/5, where you can take a=3x/5 and b=4x/5 please rate me...
