If the answer is something like tan-1(tan  - tanh/tan+tanh) where =  / 2 it is probably best not to go into the solution!

no i am sure i got the question correctly..ya the answer was something like that (this was a question i came across last year..so dont remember the exact answer) just tell me the method. the final answer isnt important.
