The planes x + ky + kz = 1, kx +y +2kz = -4, kx ? ky + 4z = 2
Intersect in a point. The values k cannot take is
(A) -1,2
(B) -2,-1
(C) 2,1
(D) -2,1

assuming the '?' in ur Q as '+'
take the determinant of the 3 lines which implies they are in the same plane.
u will get,3k^3 -7k^2 +4 !=0
for k=1 and k=2 the eqn bcomz =0,which shud not happen
so the values k cannot take are 1,2
correct me if m wrong
