a vec+bvec=rt(a sq+bsq+2ab)
this is mod of resultant

well pink_ele if it was rt(a sq+bsq+2ab)  then why write it like this u can write it
as |a+b| don't u see that there is something that is missing.............yes the angle beetween the vectors.
 
|a + b|(not the usual modulus) = [2 ](a2+b2+2abcos) where  is the angle beetween the vectors.

Hey are you forgetting angle made by vector
 
Angle made by resutant woth vector a is given by
 
tan inverse of bsin/(a + bcos)
