The unit vector in d direction of any vector is v / |v|
here |v| = rt(3^2 + 4^2) = 5
Hence d unit vector in d direction of given velocity vector is (3/5) j + (4/5) k cap...

V cap=V/ IVI

IVI=5

So V cap=(3/5)j+(4/5)k
