can you please explain the method to find the point of intersection of line and a plane?

p=perpendicular dist. between line and plane
n=normal to plane
r=eq

suppose the plane is ax+by+cz+d=0 & eqn. of line is
x-p/l=y-q/m=z-r/n then any point on line is
(p+lt,q+mt,r+nt),substitute this in plane eqn. to find t & hence the point
