Q.pa' is a vector perpendicular to i' and j' whose magnitude is 2 where 'p' is a scalar then 1.a'=k' and mod a'=p 2.a'=2/pk' and mod a'=2/p 3.a'=2pk' and mod a'=2p 4.a'=pk' and mod a'=p/2

ans is (c), becauce since a is perpendicular to i, j it would be in the direction of k, where k is unit vector and the value of p = 1, since a has magnitude is 2 ,so mod of a = 2p, in all other options both (the vector a and its mod are not having the same magnitude )

I too think answer is c
You can obtain them by eliminating the other ones.Balganesh is correct i think.

hey i hve a small doubt coz ifeel the ans shd be 2nd option
mod pa' = 2
hence mod a' = 2/p

perhaps u r getting confused. in 2nd opt. k' is in num and not dinominator.  now i think quest. is done...

given that |pa'|=2
p|a'|=2
|a'|=2/p
hence the second option is correct
