Polar vector (also called true vector) is a physical quantity which requires starting point or point of application for its definition. They dont give rotational effect to the body ex- Displacemnt,Force Axial vector (also called pseudo vector) is a physical quantity which gives rotational effect to the body and is involved in the rotatory motion. Direction of Axial vector is given by the axis of rotation of the body which is always perpendicular to the plane of the body. ex-Torque etc Under the inversion of polar vector its coordinates are transformed to its -ve whereas for an axial vector its coordinates remain unchanged
