ans is 9.the given expression is

6-2(a.b+b.c+c.a)

we have,(a+b+c)²

0 this gives,a.b+b.c+c.a

-3/2

ans is 9

i suppose it should be 9 no?

take the vectors to be 1, w, w^2 and u get 9. Also, maxima o\should be at a symmetric position which must be when all three vectors are inclined equally to one another in a planar config...this gives 9 as the result.

My explanation correctly coresponds to allam raju and the answer is 9
