A book says in one place MSH is secreted from adenohypophysis, and in another place, from intermedia

A book says in one place MSH is secreted from adenohypophysis, and in another place, from intermediate lobe of pitutary... which is correct? please explain...

intermediate zone .... though both anterior and intermediate lobe have proopiomelanocorticoid...

pars intermedia atropies during foetal development.but some of its cells migrate into adjacent parts of the anterior lobe.MSH is secreted by the cells of pars intermedia to be specific.but these cells are present near adenohypophysis.so both the answers are correct.
