a gamete normally contains.......two alleles of a gene...take any book see a set of gene having two allels only( XX ) OR (XY)............2)A cross b/w F1 hybrid n the recessive parent is called.......test cross...ITS JUST TO TEST SO CALLED A TEST CROSS

Gamete is pure for a particular trait so it will have 1 allele of a gene ( allele is a pair of gene) this is explained in 2 nd law law of segegation so called law of purity of gametes
Cross is called test cross to check whether the parents are homozygous or heterozygous if all are of same type then homozy. if ratio is 50 50 then heterozygous
