the glomelular capillaries differ from other capillaries in the body because they

have larger network areas

are derived from and open into arterioles

are devoid of endothelial cells

are the only site of filtrate formation                       plz xplain

the force which is responsible for filtration of blood is

osmotic pressure

effective filtration pressure

capillary pressure

capsule pressure                                        ans given is 2    but  other pressures also help na     plz xplain me

1. renal pelvis. cortical collecting ducts merge and progress towards medullary pyramid forming the papillary ducts of Bellini.papillary ducts of Bellini empty final urine (old fart urine) into the minor calyx at the tip of the renal pyramid (papilla) at the area cribrosa

2.are derived from and open into arterioles. normally other capillaries start from a arteriole and end in a venule.

3.effective filtration pressure is much broader term as it includes all others. it is the resultant ofthe other pressures mentioned.

for the 1st.. answer is minor calyx only.. it is absolutely right..

area of cribrosa is the apex of medullary pyramid which opens in minor calyx which then opens into major calyx, then renal pelvis...

for second one..answer is tow.. both start and terminate into arterioles ( these are very rare examples of such combination) it is actually called as rete mirabile ( other example is portal systems)

for third.. answer is effective filtration pressure...

for fourth.. i'm not very sure...
